Install Sakhani on your phone, tablet or computer, straight from the browser. Log the diary, events and photos with no signal at all: they wait on the phone and reach the office the moment you are back in signal.
Basements, rural sites, the far end of a long road: the work still gets recorded on the day it happens. A made-up day on a made-up project, as the app shows it.
Point the phone's camera at the code.
Signal comes and goes on site. Each item is accepted by Sakhani once, so a diary day or an event never lands twice.
Waiting items stay on the phone, locked to that person's log-in, even through a log-out or a flat battery.
Each time the phone has signal, Sakhani keeps the site tabs on it, so they still open in the basement. It updates itself the same way: there is nothing to install twice.
The app is Sakhani itself, so it is included in the free trial and every plan. Your data stays hosted in South Africa.
No. It installs straight from the browser, so there is nothing to find in a store. It is the same Sakhani on every phone, tablet and computer, and it always opens the latest version.
Android phones and tablets with Chrome or Samsung Internet, iPhones and iPads with Safari, and Windows and Mac computers with Chrome or Edge. On a Mac it also works in Safari through File, Add to Dock.
They stay on the phone, locked to you, and send the next time you are logged in with signal. If you log out with items still waiting, Sakhani asks first.
No. Every item carries its own reference from the phone, and Sakhani accepts each reference once. A diary day sent late carries only the sections that changed.
The event carries the date it happened, as you entered it on the phone. Its deadline is counted from that date, the way your contract says, not from when the phone found signal.
Everything else Sakhani does: how it works, and the WhatsApp side for teams who would rather not open an app at all.
Free trial, no card. Hosted on AWS in Cape Town under POPIA. Your contracts never train anything.
